Three progressive stages – separation, coagulation and filtration – ensure that the fuel reaches the engine free from contamination. The filter is prepared for connection of a water alarm. The filter is supplied without couplings or union nuts for the fuel line connection (see “Fuel line fittings” for details).

Volvo Penta fuel filter\/water separator 877763 is an original diesel filter with white metal bowl for installation between the fuel tank and the engine. This filter removes water, dirt and other contamination from the diesel fuel before it reaches the engine. Through the three filter stages – separation, coagulation and filtration – the fuel pump, injectors and injection system are better protected against wear and clogging. This helps prevent water in the fuel system, loss of power, poor starting and irregular engine operation. Please note: couplings and union nuts for the fuel line are not included.<\/p>\n
