Dirt, burrs or damage can damage the lip seals and cause leakage.<\/li>\n<li>Thoroughly lubricate the lip seals before installation with the supplied grease or suitable propeller shaft grease.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a minimum installation overlap of 38 mm.<\/li>\n<li>Bleed the Stuffybox when launching, so the seal is cooled and lubricated by the outside water.<\/li>\n<li>For long-term maintenance, apply one small grease dosage annually via the grease hose or grease nipple.<\/li>\n<li>Replace the Stuffybox after a maximum of 4 years or 500 operating hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The TOR Marine Stuffy Box \u00d850 mm EVO is a water-lubricated propeller shaft seal for inboard engines with a water-lubricated shaft system.
