\nThe mechanical steering systems are available in four models, all with a planetary gear design with three planet gears that rotate around their own axis while also rotating around the central steering shaft. This design provides an optimal reduction ratio with minimal physical effort, increased efficiency and reduced torque feedback compared to cheaper single-pinion gear systems.<\/p>\n

No-feedback steering systems
\nA special patented device ensures that the steering shaft can be locked until it is turned by the operator, maintaining the boat’s direction and neutralising feedback loads on the steering cable. The mechanism is activated when the operator applies pressure to the wheel to change the boat’s direction.<\/p>\n
