\nFor heavier diesel engines used in demanding environments with inconsistent fuel quality. The filter is intended for installation between the fuel tank and the engine. Three-stage filtration – centrifugal separation, coagulation and filtration. Water and impurities are collected in the bowl underneath, from where they can be drained using a drain valve.
\nAll-metal construction. Meets US Coast Guard requirements for fire resistance when exposed to open fire for 2.5 minutes. The filter is prepared for connection to a water alarm. The filter is supplied with a 10 micron filter element, but without couplings for the fuel line connection.

Volvo Penta fuel filter\/water separator 24293067 is an original diesel filter for heavier Volvo Penta diesel engines in demanding marine applications. This filter is installed between the fuel tank and the engine and removes water, dirt and other contamination from the diesel fuel before it reaches the engine. Through the three-stage filtration – centrifugal separation, coagulation and filtration – the fuel pump, injectors and injection system are better protected against wear and clogging. This helps prevent water in the fuel system, loss of power, poor starting and damage caused by contaminated diesel. Please note: couplings for the fuel line are not included.<\/p>\n
