Volvo Penta hulpdimmereenheid ADU 3848966 is een originele Auxiliary Dimmer Unit voor het dimmen van EVC-instrumenten via het Volvo Penta hoofdpaneel. Deze control unit maakt centrale aansturing van de dashboardverlichting mogelijk, zodat alle aangesloten EVC-meters tegelijk en gelijkmatig gedimd kunnen worden. Hiermee voorkom je slecht afleesbare of te felle instrumentenverlichting tijdens varen in het donker. De ADU wordt via het EVC-netwerk aangesloten en is bedoeld voor Volvo Penta instrumentenpanelen en driver interface-systemen.
