After training and working for several years as a mobile equipment technician, Alex encountered a wide variety of challenges. “Through various experiences both in a workshop and on site, you automatically become creative and innovative in the technical field.” Partly through his hobby of repairing marine engines, Alex discovered that the propulsion of machines and ships hardly differ from each other.
With this knowledge and experience, Alex saw the opportunity to turn his hobby into his job. “Not just the ship engines and parts, I found the scope of an online platform incredibly interesting. Imagine being able to share all the technical knowledge you have with everyone around you, and people can benefit from it too!” In 2016, this resulted in the creation of AB Marine Service, the technical watersports webshop.”We have since grown into an international supplier in water sports with a team of enthusiasts. From Europe to now America, they know where to find us. I love that!”
