VETUS luxury bow/stern thruster control panel with push buttons – BPAS
The VETUS BPAS is a luxury control panel with push buttons for operating bow and stern thrusters. Thanks to the modern aluminium front and high-quality finish, this panel is an attractive addition to your boat’s dashboard. The compact installation dimensions also make the panel suitable for mounting in locations where space is limited.
The panel is designed for 12V and 24V systems and has a mounting diameter of 52 mm. This matches well with the installation dimensions of VETUS engine instruments, such as a voltmeter. Thanks to the dimensions of the front, the panel can also be used as a neat upgrade for older control panels, largely covering the existing opening.
The front of the BPAS panel is waterproof according to IP66 and is therefore suitable for use at the helm station. The panel also features a built-in time delay when quickly reversing the direction of rotation. This helps reduce the load on the electric motor and drive and contributes to safe operation of the bow or stern thruster.
The panel also features several safety functions. These include protection against accidental activation, automatic switch-off after 30 minutes without operation and a warning signal with automatic switch-off during excessively long continuous operation. A switched output is also available for optional activation of an additional device, such as a remotely operated main power switch for the bow or stern thruster.
