The VETUS BPMAIN24 is a remotely and manually operated battery main switch with emergency stop function for heavy-duty 24V electrical installations on board. The switch makes it possible to centrally interrupt the power supply to high-power consumers and also features a large red button for direct manual operation.

The BPMAIN24 is suitable for a continuous load of up to 250A and can handle a load of 800A for up to 3 minutes. This makes the switch suitable for powerful marine electrical systems such as bow thrusters, stern thrusters and windlasses.

The combination of electrical remote control and manual operation makes the main switch practical when the unit is installed close to the battery or high-power consumer. The installation can be switched electrically from the helm station, while the main switch itself can also be operated directly using the red emergency button.
