Rainwater entering from above, a leaking propeller shaft, and splashing water are some of the reasons why your bilge can fill with water, oil, mud, and chemicals. To prevent your boat from listing, sinking, or running aground, you need a reliable bilge pump on board. This pump is specifically designed to expel unwanted accumulation of water and other substances. The size of the pump depends on the bilge. A smaller vessel will require a smaller pump, but it will need to pump out the bilge more quickly with a larger bilge pump.
