Application:

The Victron Small BMS NG is an all-in-one Battery Management System (BMS) designed for Victron Lithium NG batteries. The system monitors and protects the batteries by automatically managing load and charge disconnects and providing pre-alarm signals for low battery voltage. The Small BMS NG is suitable for applications that do not require integration with Victron VE.Bus inverters or chargers and offers essential protection without added complexity.

• Compatibility: Works with smart LiFePO4 NG batteries, not suitable for Lithium Battery Smart batteries or VE.Bus inverters/chargers.
• Bluetooth: Built-in, for centralized monitoring via VictronConnect.
• Load Disconnect output: Disconnects loads at low battery voltage to prevent deep discharge.
• Charge Disconnect output: Manages chargers and prevents overvoltage.
• Pre-alarm output: Early warning at low battery voltage; can trigger LED, buzzer, or relay.
• Remote on/off control: External control of both Load and Charge Disconnect outputs.
• LED indicators: Blue LED for Bluetooth status, red LED for warnings/faults.

System Configuration:

LiFePO4 NG batteries can be connected in series, parallel, or a combination, supporting 12V, 24V, and 48V systems. Up to 50 batteries can be used in 12V or 24V banks, and 25 batteries in 48V banks, allowing storage capacities up to 192 kWh (12V), 384 kWh (24V), and 128 kWh (48V). Multiple Small BMS NG units can be used in parallel for capacity and redundancy.
