This series of screw-on rubber bearings with flange connection is ideal for easily attaching the stern tube to the hull of the ship:
The internal thread connection is used to attach the tube to the rubber bearing and the adjustable flange connects the whole to the ship. A good method of mounting that can always be dismantled.
