The Python-Drive is a complete drive system for yachts, sloops, and workboats of all sizes. After installing a Python-Drive, periodic alignment of the engine to the propeller shaft is no longer required, annoying axial drive reactions between the engine and propeller shaft are eliminated, and thrust is transferred gently to the hull of the boat via the special suspension of the thrust bearing in rubber. The heart of every Python-Drive is the maintenance-free homokinetic drive shaft, which is generously designed for its task in all configurations. The thrust bearing is heavily dimensioned and maintenance-free for all models. The thrust bearing is mounted using a clamp ring that centers the propeller shaft in the position where it belongs, directly behind the homokinetic drive shaft.
