Place the gauge on the vacuum side of the filter element.
Install a new filter element and start the pump.
Set the black needle to the position of the red needle. This is the zero point.
During use, the filter becomes dirty. The red needle will then continue to rise.
We recommend replacing the element at a maximum of 275 mbar vacuum.
