Type J – Aluminium DuoProp propellers for DP280, 290, DP drives.
A fully modern aluminium propeller designed for our classic DuoProp drives. The patented blade geometry and the large propeller diameter ensure optimal efficiency and quiet, smooth operation. A special, highly durable aluminium alloy and a pressure-casting process make the propellers stronger and more durable than traditionally cast propellers. Four layers of paint provide excellent corrosion protection.
Note! Always use type C stainless steel propellers on engines above 240 hp or suitable for speeds over 38 knots (45 mph). See type C for more details.

Switching from type A or type B propellers to type J propellers
The type J propeller is designed to replace both type A and type B propellers. The dimensions of a J propeller are not identical to those of an A or B propeller. This means that an A5 propeller does not correspond to a J5 propeller.
Note! Do not mix type A, B, and J propellers. Always use propellers of the same type and the same size on the drive (or on both drives in twin installations).
