This is a high-quality type of coolant based on Organic Additive Technology (OAT), developed for the materials used in the newer generation of Volvo Penta engines and electric drivetrains. It prevents freezing and overheating while providing maximum protection for components. 
It has improved coolant oxidation stability, less metal corrosion, and better rubber/plastic compatibility. The inhibitors in VCS-2 are free of 2-EHA and comply with stricter legal requirements for removing toxic components from coolants to improve health and the environment.
