Description

This type of Ym engine mount is a compact vibration damper with a high damping capacity against large displacements. This engine mount has been specially developed for Yanmar engines by order of Yanmar Marine.

Due to its construction and high damping capacity, this type of engine mount is very suitable for e.g. 1, 2 cylinder diesel engines.
Engines with one or two cylinders generally have a larger capacity per cylinder and are sturdier. Due to the high centrifugal forces vibrations are stronger and have a greater displacement.

Thanks to the integrated swing limitation, shock movements of up to 5G can be reduced.
Annoying vibrations are thus greatly reduced and brought down to a comfortable level when sailing.
