Dirt and water are virtually unavoidable in stored fuel. Their presence often leads to the formation of bacteria, corrosive acids, and rust, resulting in clogged filters, component damage, poor combustion, and, in the worst case, system failure.
The Racor RFF series is a line of heavy-duty, high-flow filter funnels designed to protect engines by removing free water and contaminants commonly found in stored gasoline, diesel, heating oil, and kerosene. They are equipped with a filter screen featuring a built-in DuPont Teflon®-coated stainless steel mesh. The screen uses surface tension to block water while allowing fuel to flow through the funnel to the engine.
RFF series funnels can remove free water and solid particles down to 50 microns, giving users the ability to see whether their fuel supply is clean during refueling. They are ideal for refueling lawn mowers, ATVs, chainsaws, snowmobiles, generators, boats, recreational vehicles, campers, motorcycles, or any other engine that requires clean and dry fuel on the go.
