Volvo Penta anode for lower gear housing 875812 is a zinc anode specifically designed for the Volvo Penta 110S saildrive. This sacrificial anode protects the drive and propeller from galvanic corrosion by slowly dissolving itself. This prevents damage to metal components and extends the life of the drive, especially when used in saltwater where corrosion occurs more quickly.

Saltwater – Aluminum*
Brackish water – Aluminum*
Freshwater – Magnesium
* If an aluminum anode is not available for your product, select a zinc anode instead.
