Water-cooled exhaust muffler with water lock, 51mm, 100hp Stainless steel with neoprene bellows.
The flexible bellows provide the ultimate in engine noise damping.
Because this exhaust silencer is flexible, it expands with large air pressure differences.
The engine noise is caused by compression and combustion.
The compression is absorbed by expansion, the combustion noise by the damping effect of the water in the exhaust.
This silencer also contains a water lock that prevents water from flowing back into the engine and thus prevents damage to the pistons and cylinder.
