Description
Safe Seal is also free from solvents and isocyanates, and the product does not contain any silicones. Due to its unique composition, the product is perfectly UV-resistant, making it highly suitable for applications where the sealant edge is exposed to sunlight. A major advantage of Safe Seal is that it has a very high initial strength, which is especially beneficial in preventing the window from sinking, particularly when it needs to be placed vertically. Additionally, the sealant has the positive property of high stand-up ability, meaning that the bead does not fall over during application. After curing, Safe Seal contributes to the stiffness of the bodywork. It also provides excellent torsional rigidity to the vehicle.
In addition, Safe Seal is certified by TÜV Rheinland through an FMVSS 212 crash test: 30 minutes after bonding the windshield, the test car crashed frontally into a concrete block at a speed of over 48 km/h. The windshield bonding remained 100% intact, ensuring that all safety systems, such as airbags and seatbelt tensioners, worked optimally. This proves that Safe Seal contributes to optimal vehicle safety, as intended by the manufacturer. Due to its MS polymer base, Safe Seal has a long shelf life after opening, meaning opened tubes do not need to be discarded. The product is also very easy to remove from hands after installation. The convenient 290 ml tube packaging makes Safe Seal easy and economical to use.
Windows bonded with Safe Seal can be cleaned and degreased with Seal and Bond Remover or Multisol.
