The impeller is the heart of the impeller pump in your inboard or outboard engine. The impeller pumps cooling water into the cooling system. Replace an impeller?

In principle, replace the impeller every few years, but it may be necessary to replace it sooner. It is always a good idea to check the impeller at the end of the season and before launching. Just to be sure, replace this part every year. Always carry a spare impeller on board, as a broken impeller can lead to an overheated engine.
