Replace an impeller?

In principle, replace the impeller every few years, but it may be necessary to replace it sooner. It is always a good idea to check the impeller at the end of the season and before launching. Just to be sure, replace this part every year. Always carry a spare impeller on board, as a broken impeller can lead to an overheated engine.
