Ever since childhood, Wieger has been head and shoulders in the machines. First mainly in the agricultural sector and later in water sports. With his Diploma in Mechanic of Mobile Equipment/Transportation under his belt, additional courses on Anodising and the necessary work experience, engines still hold few secrets for him. “Almost no engine and failure is unknown to me. Because of the many failures I have seen along the way, I can now carry out and solve many directly.”
And he can put that knowledge and experience to good use within AB Marine Service. “Last period, I was able to do one of my biggest projects of my career. This involved a very large batch of engines that had been completely taken apart, mixed up and partly set aside as donor engines. At first, you do scratch behind your ears. What first seemed like an impossible job ended in a great result: Everything working out the door. Yes then I do feel proud!”
Every day, Wieger walks through the workshop with a broad smile. “Seeing engines and projects that have been written off by the previous owner back out the door in top condition for a second life is something I love.”
