VETUS easy docking panel for bow/stern thruster – EZDOCK2
The VETUS EZDOCK2 is a control panel for operating a bow thruster and stern thruster via one central rotary control. This panel is designed to make manoeuvring easier, especially during docking, mooring and precise harbour manoeuvres. Instead of two separate controls, one central control is used to operate both thrusters.
The panel operates on 12V and 24V control voltage and is designed as a non-proportional on/off system. Thanks to the built-in time delay, a short pause is introduced when quickly changing the direction of rotation. This helps reduce mechanical shock loads and limits unnecessary stress on the electric motor and drive.
The front of the panel is waterproof according to IP67 and is therefore suitable for installation at the helm station. The panel also features various safety functions, such as child safety, automatic switch-off after 30 minutes of inactivity and protection against excessively long continuous operation.
