VETUS bow thruster control panel for side mounting – BPSM

The VETUS BPSM is a recessed control panel for operating a bow thruster. The panel is equipped with an illuminated on/off switch and a directional switch for operation to port and starboard. Thanks to its flush design, no joystick protrudes from the panel, making it suitable for installation in locations where protruding controls are undesirable.

The front is waterproof according to IP65 and is therefore suitable for use in a marine environment. The control is non-proportional and operates as a direct on/off control. The panel does not feature a built-in automatic time delay when changing the direction of rotation.

When switching the bow thruster to the opposite direction of rotation, it is therefore important to allow the motor to come to a complete stop first. If an automatic time delay is required, a separate VETUS BPTD time delay switch can be used according to the supplied information.
