VETUS battery main switch 2-pole 2x250A – BATSW250T

The VETUS BATSW250T is a heavy-duty 2-pole battery main switch for marine DC installations up to a maximum of 48V. The switch is designed to interrupt two circuits simultaneously and is therefore suitable for installations where complete electrical isolation is required.

The BATSW250T is rated for up to 2x 250A continuous operation and can handle a maximum current of 2x 2500A for 5 seconds. This makes the switch suitable for electrical systems with high current loads and short-term peak currents.

For connection, the main switch is equipped with two sets of heavy-duty M10 connection studs. The switch has clearly defined ON and OFF positions. The operating key can be removed in the OFF position, preventing the electrical system from being switched on unintentionally during maintenance or when the vessel is not in use.

Thanks to its high current capacity, the BATSW250T can be used in heavy-duty marine DC installations, for example with bow thrusters, stern thrusters and other electrical systems requiring a high-capacity battery connection.
