The VETUS BPPJA is a proportional control panel with joystick for VETUS BOW PRO, BOW PRO Boosted and RIMDRIVE systems. The joystick allows the required thrust to be adjusted continuously, enabling more precise control of the bow or stern thruster than with traditional on/off switching.

By moving the joystick only partially, a small amount of thrust can be applied, while moving the joystick further provides more thrust. This makes the panel particularly suitable for precise manoeuvres during docking, undocking and manoeuvring in confined spaces.

An important feature of the BPPJA is the hold function. This allows a selected thrust level to be maintained without having to keep the joystick continuously in position. This can be practical, for example, during docking when the bow thruster needs to provide a constant correction for a longer period.

Communication takes place via the digital VETUS V-CAN network. The panel features a twin connector that allows the system to be easily daisy-chained to multiple control positions. A status indicator is also provided for current system information and warnings.

The panel has a compact 85 x 85 mm front with an aluminium bezel. A 75 mm mounting hole is required and the installation depth is 90 mm. The housing is water-resistant according to IP65.
