The VETUS BPPPA is a proportional control panel with paddle switch for operating VETUS BOW PRO bow and stern thrusters. This control allows the required thrust to be adjusted continuously, enabling more precise manoeuvring than with conventional on/off control.

By moving the paddle further or less far, the amount of thrust can be adjusted to the manoeuvring situation. This is practical for precise docking, manoeuvring in confined spaces or when only a small correction of the bow or stern is required.

The BPPPA panel communicates via the digital VETUS V-CAN network. A twin connector on the rear allows the system to be daisy-chained to multiple control positions. The panel also features a status indicator and child safety to help prevent accidental activation.

The water-resistant IP65 housing and aluminium bezel make the panel suitable for installation at a marine helm station. The compact front measures 85 x 85 mm and is installed in a 75 mm diameter mounting hole.

The BPPPA does not feature a hold function. The paddle must therefore be held in the required position while thrust is being applied.
