VETUS remote control for BPMAIN main switch – BPMRC

The VETUS BPMRC is a wired remote control for the VETUS BPMAIN electrically operated battery main switches. This control allows the main switch to be switched on and off from the helm station, dashboard or another suitable control position.

The BPMRC is suitable for the specified VETUS BPMAIN12 and BPMAIN24 versions. This means the main switch does not need to be operated directly at the battery or in the technical compartment. This is practical for installations where the battery main switch is mounted in a difficult-to-reach location.

The control is equipped with a switch with a transparent protective cover to help prevent accidental operation. Status indicators are also provided to visually check the condition of the connected BPMAIN system.

The BPMRC is connected to the system via the existing VETUS plug connections. When a greater distance between the main switch and the control position needs to be bridged, the optional VETUS BPMEC intermediate cable can be used according to the supplied product information.
