Volvo Penta filter element 889422 is an original 30 micron fuel filter element for Volvo Penta fuel filters and water separators. This filter element is used for primary filtration and removes water, dirt and coarse particles from diesel fuel before it continues into the fuel system. This gives the fuel pump, injectors and finer filters better protection against contamination and clogging. A saturated or incorrect filter element can lead to loss of power, poor starting or irregular engine operation.
