The VETUS BPJDE2 is a control panel with two separate joysticks for operating a bow thruster and stern thruster. One joystick controls the bow thruster and the other joystick controls the stern thruster. This allows both systems to be operated separately or during the same manoeuvre.

The panel is suitable for 12V and 24V systems and operates with non-proportional on/off control. The built-in time delay prevents a bow or stern thruster from being switched immediately to the opposite direction of rotation. This helps reduce mechanical shock loads and limits unnecessary stress on the electric motor and drive.

For safe operation, the BPJDE2 features several safety functions. During excessively long continuous operation, an audible and visual warning is given and the relevant thruster is temporarily switched off. Protection against accidental activation also helps prevent unintended operation. If the panel is not used for 30 minutes, it switches off automatically.

The front is waterproof according to IP66 and the synthetic front measures 138 x 85 mm. A mounting cut-out of 130 x 75 mm is required and the installation depth is 90 mm. The panel operates without V-CAN and is intended for traditional VETUS control voltage operation.
