Description
VETUS V-CAN interface for external push buttons – CANVXCSP
The VETUS CANVXCSP is a digital interface for connecting external push buttons to the VETUS V-CAN network. The module makes it possible to operate a VETUS BOW PRO bow or stern thruster using separate switches instead of a complete standard control panel.
The CANVXCSP processes the signals from the connected external push buttons and converts them into digital V-CAN commands. Operation via this interface is non-proportional: when a push button is operated, the bow or stern thruster is driven at maximum thrust.
The interface is intended for normally open, momentary push buttons and offers flexibility when creating a custom helm station. For example, separate buttons can be integrated into a dashboard or another control position. According to the supplied information, a maximum of four control positions can be used.
The module is integrated into the V-CAN network and is equipped with connections and wiring for integration into the installation. A correctly configured and protected V-CAN system is required for proper operation.
