A stop relay (stop solenoid) ensures that the boat’s engine stops immediately when the ignition key is turned off. Use a solenoid valve in the fuel supply or put a stop relay on the engine stop lever.

Stop relay switched externally

An externally switched stop magnet requires another switching module to switch on the holding coil after the magnet has been attracted by the pulling coil.

Stop relay switched internally

Internally switched stop solenoids can be connected directly. The holding coil is automatically switched on by an internal switch after the pulling coil has completed its full stroke.
