Water in the Fuel:
Condensation in fuel is not uncommon, but it’s definitely inconvenient when it happens. The solution is simple: a 50 L/h diesel fuel filter with a clear bowl water separator.
This type of filter has hydrophobic properties that prevent water from passing through. Water collects at the bottom of the bowl and can be drained via the small tap at the bottom of the diesel fuel filter with integrated water separator.
Since water has a higher density than fuel, it settles at the bottom of the filter and can be easily drained.

How to drain a diesel fuel filter with water separator:
If the diesel level is lower than the filter, you’ll need a pump—otherwise, when you open the drain plug, fuel will flow back to the tank. Make sure the fuel level is above the filter.
Place a container under the drain plug or tap and open it. Drain until clean diesel fuel flows out, then close the plug or tap.

The package includes a complete filter housing, including a fuel filter (Delphi HDF-296) and a transparent water separator bowl, plus two blanking plugs with sealing rings.
